What to talk about: Fighter Connor McGregor got into the spirit game with a whiskey that celebrates his Dublin neighborhood, no. 12. McGregor teamed up with former Guinness master distiller, David Elder, to create a smooth blend of triple distilled Irish whiskey that they finish in ex-bourbon barrels. This is a great whiskey to party with — as it mixes well as a cocktail or highball base and you can shoot it very easily.

Tasting notes: Softness is the first impression here. This is an easy sip with a light presence (light on the wallet too!). The woody bourbon barrels bring in notes of vanilla spice and charred oak wood staves. Then the whiskey takes a turn into a bright jasmine field in full bloom and ripe pear orchards. There’s an earthiness that helps this one shine and rise above the pack.

I have. It wasn't THAT bad. It's fine if mixed with coke. But there are cheaper and better options. IAfriend actually brought it and Metallica's whiskey which was actually really good. Fun story, Metallica separated some barrels and played different songs next to them so the barrels would vibrate to those specific frequencies and then have whiskey tasters taste the difference if any.

But most whiskey reviewers, proper ones (and not Conor haters) don't have a lot of positives to say about it.

They were giving samples at a package store, can verify it is garbage.
Proper number 12, is the official name.
Which is just a lame ploy to make people think it's been aged 12 years like a good whiskey. No, just a very misleading name.
It's like sellling 4oz. Horse steaks under the name "16oz prime" because your old zip code had a 16 in it.
They were giving out samples of bushmills red bush, same bottle price and it was sooo much smoother and just better.
