Dana white say's Conor wont promote.

Conor haters are hating that Conor wont promote.

And guesse what?. All Conor has done the past 72 hours is promote. The intenet and media have gone crazy about all this, and all that keeps getting mentioned is ufc200. Newspapers, news channels, he was trending on twitter as the most retweeted sports athlete ever the other day. The guy promotes when he's asleep.

Conor's point between the lines was that he can't beat Nate Diaz without having special privileges, "leeway" so to speak. And I agree with him on this.

Yes, he really don't need to do much to get everyone attention. He even probably does better than anyone without talking at all. One tweet is enough.

How does his "retiring" promote the UFC 200 event? He's now not even fighting on that card any more. His fans won't even bother with the card now. It doesn't make sense, sorry.

Another low brow that thinks reading a tweet actually means that person is gonna shell out $60 to buy the ppv.

Retiring in a temper tantrum and then unretiring is not promoting. It's bush league and childish and casts a bad light on the promotion.

And he still will NOT headline 200. So all that " promoting " was a waste.

I mean...we're talking like a week difference in training. Is it really going to matter that much?

Agreed. The worst part is poor Aldo had to spend 2 months listening to Conor's insults and now Conor needs peace a silence.

He lost cuz he lost had nothing to do w promoting or not.

Conor promoted himself right into a hole where everyone but his nut huggers think he is a bitch drama queen. Well done Conor, only other person to lose respect as fast was Ronda.

we talking about practice?

I just watched his documentary on netflix, I cant laugh at that interview anymore now I know what he was meaning. His friend had just died and all the media wanted to do was talk about him missing practice.

which is shit, because I used to find that clip hilarious :(

its ok, after Conor KO'd him theres a good chance Aldo doesnt even remember that lol

Biggest fight of a fighters life and he should be able to train where and how and when he wants to. They are 'FIGHTERS' Dana White is the promoter. Zuffa wants to keep squeezing more and more money out of the fighters and not have it go back to them and its now back firing on them. Now is the time for them to start giving some of the money back to them.

I must admit that it's more than a bit ironic that the UFC pulled him from the card because he "wouldn't promote". Nobody is a better promoter of fights in MMA than Conor is at this moment. There's more to promoting a fight than showing up at random little pressers that won't impact PPV buys.

Of course it's the UFC's rights to pull him because he wouldn't fly to do some presser in California or whatever - that's their right. But it's terribly shortsighted IMO - let him skip his pressers, he'll still make them tons of money. Classic UFC trying to control everything.
