Probably the most embarrassing title fight performance of all time

Just an overall disappointment of a fight.

Strick came out one dimensional and lackadaisical.

DDP can only fight in bursts and wheezes with his hands by his hips in between long stretches of inactivity

MW needs some fresh blood. Hopefully guys like Khamzat, Borralho, and Imavov can bring the next wave of the division.

DuPlessis did his homework. His variety of kicks prevented Strickland from using his boxing advantage today, and, unlike the first fight, he now has the cardio to just keep blasting 'em. Not a great performance by Strickland, but considering he had to reset his nose mid fight and kept fighting to the finish line, I don't think it warrants shame.

Far from the most embarrassing. He's just so defensively sound. DDP has finished 20 of 23 wins... 2 of those decision wins are against Sean.

Sean is not an easy guy to beat up physically let alone finish.

But it was frustrating watching him not empty the gas tank in the 5th.

I still see guys ragging on DDP's cardio, but that's actually what impresses me most. Does he have a tendency to look half dead during fights? Yes. I didn't notice it in this fight, and he wasn't even breathing heavy during the interview at all. I think this may be overstated.

you talk about DDP having bad cardio and want to see 1 rd Khamzat who barely fights as some kind of savior of the division? lol
