I never got into pro wrestling as a kid, but a lot of my friends in adulthood like to be nostalgic about it.

Is it worth watching some of the older eras? Or is it mostly just childhood nostalgia?

It's crazy stupid. Never even saw the reason people liked it as a kid.

Some of the women were fine though.

It was very entertaining in the 80's to early 2000's but in my opinion sucks now. Hogan turning heel and forming NWO with Hall and Nash in WCW was awesome television plus you had the attitude era in the WWE. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Vince McMahon still is my favorite storyline

Its an acrobatic Melodrama and I love it , though the current product is not the same without the big large crowds.

Never really got into it growing up like my brothers but I was watching the Montreal Screwjob vids on youtube yesterday and you go down a rabbit hole of different takes from wrestlers who were there. Fascinating.

It's silly if you've gone through puberty already but I will say that Beyond the Mat series is fantastic.

I remember watching that special where a guy in a mask “exposed” how wrestling was fake. And it was supposed to be like edgy and spooky.

Yeah, probably not worth my time as an adult. I guess I missed out as a kid.

When Mick Foley won the WWF Title man that pop Austin got when he came out is one of the loudest I ever heard. I still remember when Tony Schiavone spoiled the main event for this on WCW Nitro because the WWE used to tape raw every other week. The famous words "It's gonna put some butts in the seats" and bam 600k viewers switched over to raw to watch Mick win the title. Tony himself stated after the fact he did not want to spoil the raw main event but Vince Russo forced him to say it. Between that, the finger poke of doom and giving the HW title to David Arquette really put an end to the WCW.

It can be, but lately they have been shooting themselves in the foot with all the micromanaging. Some of the wrestlers (male and female) still can make it entertaining though.

Never cared for it. I always liked the video games though.

I used to have a roommate who I would "bust" watching it all the time. I'd come home and he'd change the channel real quick like I was his mom and he was watching porn or something lmao.
