SO while Ive been rehabing my knee, Ive been watching tv, and just so happen to turn on the WWE (dont knock me, I was a big Hulkamaniac when I was a kid, and one of the MILLIONS.......AAAAND MILLIONS of the Rocks fans as a teen, but i grew out of it got into MMA fastforward present day) One of the characters on there is named Alberto Del Rio. Just so happens Del Rio used to be a Luchador under the name Dss Caras who so happen to fight in MMA a few times, one of the matches being a KO loss to Cro Cop. ANyway, I saw him doing his finishing move, which is a armbar. Thought it was cool to see, eventhough, if youre nit picky with detail, youll notice he has the palm pointed up, but its pro wrestling, so ehhh whatever.

In Japanese pro wrestling, Kimuras, kneebars, heelhooks, ankle locks, toe holds, north south chokes, ALL kind of subs have been around forever. A lot of legit Catch subs are in both American, Mexican, and Japanese pro wrestling.

Matter of fact, I remember when I had some old wrestling games on my N64, I would design my own character. Alot of his moves were submissons. I remember they had a bunch of armbar varaiations they could do.
