Cain beat two guys back and forth and Mr rousey. No doubt he was awesome but stipe is just a better fighter.

I dont think Stipe ever beats the Cain that fought BFG, JDS and Big Nog. HW resumes are misleading.

    No.

Prime Cain mauls any form of Stipe.

He destroyed Prime JDS who after the beatings from Cain still managed to beat Stipe.

Stipe and Cain are the same age.
When Cain was in his 'prime', Stipe was losing to Struve.
Stipe's 'prime' only happened because Cain was gone.

Cains prime was like Tysons, short lived.

The potential to be an all time great was always there but both times it was never fully realized

A lot of it had to do with Cain's look and his demeanor and stuff like that I think.. It built a mystique around him that someone a little more open and normal like Stipe didn't have.

Why do these threads happen every time a deteriorating legend loses?

It’s like a single loss undoes everything they accomplished throughout their entire career.

Gah I dont know. I think Prime Cain is one hell of a fighter. Great Cardio, grat striking, great wrestling .... Prime Cain VS Stipe would be a fantastic fight - I dont think either would maul or dominate the other - but your talking about do well rounded fighters who know how to finish. Man that would be a fucking fight.

And got his shit pushed in by Werdum and Ngannou, both guys who Stipe beat convincingly.

Oh ya, but sea level right?

Sure it was, the point is JDS still won after getting destroyed twice by Cain.

Don't tell me that didn't take something from him, because it did.

And Matt Mitrione KOed a broken Fedor.

    Whats your fucking point Einstein?
