Hypothetically speaking, of course... how do you think Yoel would do vs these guys?
Could he beat half of them?

    Stipe Miocic
    Francis Ngannou
    Curtis Blaydes
    Jairzinho Rozenstruik
    Derrick Lewis
    Alistair Overeem
    Alexander Volkov
    Junior Dos Santos
    Shamil Abdurakhimov
    Augusto Sakai
    Aleksei Oleinik
    Walt Harris
    Sergei Pavlovich
    Ciryl Gane
    Blagoy Ivanov
    Marcin Tybura

Worse than he did at mw. Would probably catch a couple of guys but those guys are big.

He beats most of them TBH. The division is the most garbage it's been in a long long time. Yoel is the best athlete in UFC history. He can still KO just about anyone with the right explosion, he's one of the most dangerous counter sturikers ever, can get TDs to score and has a huge speed advantage and athleticism advantage

Stipe, Francis, Blaydes, Gane and maybe Volkov (Volkov got finished by Lewis and should have a loss to Timothy Johnson lmaooooo) are the only good HWs. Reem and JDS are washed. I mean Lewis is top 5 and he arguably just lost to Ilir Latifi lmaooooo

Look at the bottom half of that shitty list besides Gane and maybe Pavlovich. Jesus Christ HW has seen much better days<6>

I believe he easily beats Harris, Tybura, Abdurakhimov and Pavlovich. Tougher fights vs Ivanov (the man has a great chin) and Sakai. Current JDS is pretty bad, also.

    That would not be advisable.

Yoel is short and low reach even at MW.

He did pretty well at LHW but lost to what’s his name in Strikeforce (before yoels prime imo)
    Edit- Fajao

He almost lost to a prime Tim Kennedy (the ref could have rightfully stopped it when he didn’t answer the bell in the 3rd)

Could prime Yoel have beaten some LHWs?
I think so, but it wouldn’t be easy.

@ HW the size difference would be a problem.

Yoel is a beast no doubt, but he was not invincible.

He'd win a lot more than people think. He's not really any smaller than that fatass DC, just a bit lighter. Consider how unathletic 99.9% of Heavyweights are compared to Romero. Romero is just as powerful as most heavyweights and way faster.

Hes smaller than dc. Height and size dont always go together. DC is a meatball.

The fight against Feijao is telling, not just because he got KO'd, but because Feijao stuffed and nullified quite easily Romero's best asset - wrestling.

He'd be bigger at HW tho. Also there are plenty of lighter Heavyweights that do extremely well. Even Stipe and DC are in the 230s.
