This guy's story is one of the weirdest in the sport. An absolute beast who wrecked his career by holding subs long after he was told to stop. Normally when a world class wrestler fights a BJJ specialist I favor the wrestler to out grapple to a decision ie. Usman vs Maia.

But Palhares was a BJJ black belt AND had a catch wrestling background. Since styles make fights makes me wonder how he'd have done vs the current UFC WW champ.
