No. There was a similar poll long before the Weidman fights and Jones was a hefty favorite. Jones is a terrible match up for Silva

jones has been looking incredible lately, but one factor to consider is that jones couldnt knock out an old lady, whereas anderson has had so many it gets boring trying to count them all.
such short memories people have...anderson had a very long reign during which he appeared to be some kind of wizard that magically switched men off at will.
anyone making a claim that jones would easily beat prime anderson is implying that they can actually comprehend silvas talent; get a grip. he seems so human now since weidman but for years he may as well have been agent smith. anderson did a lot better in his worst fight, against chael, than jones did against gustafsson. silva actually finished his fight, jones took a controversial decision.

Jones would win this pretty consistently if he stuck with a wrestling-based attack.
Only chance Anderson would have is if Jones wanted to beat him in a striking match. Jones doesn't have crushing KO power and Silva has repeatedly proven that even at LHW he can take guys out with 1 hit.
Still, outside of a poorly game-planned hypothetical this scenario leaves Jones the winner.
