Meaning 9 out of 10 times. This was technically a stylistically favorable match-up for him but he was reluctant in ever taking that fight due to miscalculation and superficial size fear.

Weidmann and Sonnen showed that GSP would have definitely beaten Anderson 90% of times. The Question is why?

Because despite Chris Weidmann being a bad-match up for Silva he was not nearly as athletic, explosive and good MMA grappler as prime GSP was.

GSP could have applied a really suffocating and grinding fight. It would be like the Weidmann fight 10x times. As GSP was capable of even getting the Takedowns from the center of the octagon. He usually use to throw one-two combos setting up a bull-rush TD that lands 100% of times and keeping Prime Spider down was easy and it was shown by Chael Sonnen and Weidmann.

Silva was tailor made for GSP stylistically but he somehow avoided fighting him and kept it safe. GSP would have beaten Silva much easier then Weidmann ever could..

GSP technically robbed himself out of this legacy fight

"That’s the thing — nobody wants to do it. GSP would never move up to 185 to fight Anderson Silva. He wouldn’t do it," White said when speaking to Russillo and Kanell on Tuesday.

You know how many times we wanted to do the GSP-Anderson Silva fight? GSP would not do it. Would not do it. Guys don’t do that stuff [..] "

you do realize that GSP had several opportunities to face Silva right? You do realize that Silva could have easily been LHW champion right? Please tell me you realize that GSP intentionally fought at MW when he realized Michael Bisping was the champion right?

Strongly disagree.

GSP gets lit up badly by Silva. Prime Silva was smoking 205'ers. Prime GSP was getting beat to shit by Condit and Hendricks.

GSP signed the contract and showed up to fight Silva zero times...

I tend to agree, Andy had the skills to tag him but I dont see any version of Anderson stopping GSPs takedowns.

If they were naturally the same size yes, with their weight difference then it would be a closer fight

Post USADA, GSP destroys him 10/10

GSP at MW is not GSP at WW.

Your assumptions are most likely wrong and history has shown the GSP didn't believe in his odds against Silva. No shame in that either, they are both goats.

It took a significantly larger man in Sonnen to control prime Silva, not to mention Sonnen tested positive for literally every PED.

Significiantly larger? that is an exaggeration... Sonnen himself admits that GSP outwrestled him and he even says GSP was physically stronger then him..

GSP basically bottled it by never taking a fight tailor made for him due to superficial concerns

Sonnen said that GSP ragdolled him.
