    I mean he beat:

PRIME: Monson, Randleman, Mezger, Bustamante, Saluev (13-2 at the time, 12 fight winning streak), Belfort, Sobral 2x, Overeem, Ortiz 2x, Couture 2x, Horn and beat post his prime Wanderlei post his prime.

That's 15 (unless you don't count Saluev) GREAT wins.

    I mean, f*cking sh*t.

Even Jones only has 12: O'Brien, past his prime Vera, Old Janitor, Bader, Shogun (past his prime, but still great), Rampage (past his prime, but still great), Machida, Evans, Belfort, Gusti, Glover and Cormier.

    Edited: Not a GOAT debate.

Wanderlei has 15. PRIME: Mezger, Hendo, Sakuraba 3x (put him out of his prime), Past his prime Tamura (won't count him), cont. old, but kicking as* Yoshida 2x, prime: Rampage 2x, Minowa, Kondo, Nakamura, Arona and old, but still kicking Fujita. He also beat Jardine at LHW, Bisping, Le and Stann all at MW well past his prime.

Um, the guy that knocked him the fuck out? Rampage.

And the guy that knocked him the fuck out. Wanderlei Silva.

Don't forget the Light Heavyweight GOAT. Jon "Bones" Jones. Shits on Chuck Liddells record.

  4. Including prime in there doesn't make sense because everyone has a different idea of when a fighters prime ended.

Also, he shot for a takedown on wand.

jones is the obvious answer. But also page since he ko'd prime chuck twice and was fighting arguably tougher comp in pride.

Probably Jones. That's an impressive record though.

    Jones.

Best part about Jone's success is that there aren't nearly as many Chuck vs Wand vs Shogun vs Rampage vs Hendo threads anymore with people arguing about who's better.

There used to be one every few days

I don't go in for comparing records to try'n determine "The greatest", but that's a goddamn impressive run. You have to have some serious Lidell hate not to acknowledge that.

"Um, the guy that knocked him the fuck out? Rampage.

And the guy that knocked him the fuck out. Wanderlei Silva."

Explain to me how a comma anywhere in that statement would not suggest Wanderlei KO'd Chuck.

He was just either wrong or a troll.

    Nobody sh*ts on Chuck's record.

Chuck has the most great wins out of all LHWs ever. I didn't ask who the GOAT is, so relax. It is Jones.

Rampage has the superior winning record though yeah, if we ignore close fights vs Bustamante, Ninja, Lindland and Machida.

    Hendo is too interdivisional:)

So the guys to talk about here are Wandy, Rampage, Jones and Chuck.

    Talking about LHW record.

Hendo is a stud with 4 top 10 HW wins to boost his stellar MW and LHW winning record.

Rua has some great wins, but his injuries sadly took him out of this conversation.

OH, I see but it's still a confusing the way he put it. Should have used more names than "hims".

    Thanks for the interpretation.

Shogun. It's between him and Chuck. Jones has a great record, but also only 8 top 10 wins by comparison and less good wins overall. Him smoking everyone and being unbeaten makes him the best.

Jones is the greatest LHW of all time, and I'm quite sure the majority of people believe the same thing. He has the best resume out of any of the other LHW's, in my opinion. He's fought, and dominantly beaten many of the most legendary fighters in MMA history. He's been nothing but impressive in his UFC career, especially once he became the champion.

Liddell definitely does have a great resume, though. It isn't as great as Jones' in terms of competition, but people need to realize that Chuck was fighting a lot of the best fighters the world had to offer at the time and he looked great in doing so. It's the same with Fedor - I've seen a lot of people hate on him and say he was a can crusher, but they need to understand that those were the very best HW's in the world at the time over in Pride. Pride had a much better HW division than the UFC did at the time by FAR, and Fedor crushed everybody in his path and made it look easy.

Today's competition is on a different level than it was back then, though. Jones has beaten better competition than Chuck did.

Shogun (TKO), Rampage (RNC), Machida (Guillotine), Evans (UD), Belfort (Americana), Sonnen (TKO), Gustafsson (UD), Glover (UD), Cormier (UD). Man, it does not get any more impressive than that. It really doesn't.

Jones is the greatest LHW of all time. The only other LHW that I believe has a resume that is even close to Jones' is Shogun's, in my opinion. Shogun is the only other guy with a resume that comes close, but really, I still don't think it's actually close, just that Shogun is the only other guy who has a murderous row of opponents on his list, but still not on the level of who Rampage beat, best way I can explain it right now.

EDIT: By the way, I'm a HUGE Chuck Liddell fan. Always have been and always will be. He was one of the fighters that I first watched when I was first getting into MMA and yes, his resume is definitely great. Chuck was just so awesome to watch. I really wish I got into MMA sooner to watch his reign. Would've been so awesome. I really hate that I started watching so late.

    I miss Chuck. :(
