Prime Anderson vs Romero of Whitaker II

Lol @ calling Whittaker a better boxer than prime Silva

Does running in with your chin up while swinging at air count as "good boxing?

<45>
Silva was making full use of bad habits of overcommitted opponents, but really never developed game to draw out openings. He was waiting for people to step in, trying to bait them onto counters, and most of his setups were just chained shots one on another. He had outstanding shot selection and timing to follow up off ties or counters.

Robert rolled with Yoel's shots and was very conservative with his entries using stutter steps (playing with rhythm), jabs and linear kicks.

Positionally tho (probably the biggest part in judging someone's boxing), Robert's game was better. Essentially in his stance, he doen't stand square and is always covered behind the lead shoulder. Silva would often find himself being backed up, having both feet parallel to one another, trying to crouch or slip while being out of position and open to follow up blows.

It only takes a good throwaway to navigate Silva's defence, but none of his opponents had technical layers for it. On the other hand, you couldn't just outfeint Robert and maneuver him however you want.

Anderson would get destroyed by both. I hate to think what Romero would do to him
