This ONE event proves downed knees should be legal. That knee on DJ wasn't any more dangerous than a clean knee to the head of a standing opponent, and if you take the risk of exposing yourself by trying to get up with a guy bearing down on you, you should pay a price.

Knees make the fight game more honest and realistic.

There are positions in UFC which become meaningless which should be a death sentence. Guys stall in turtle, or sprawl position when they would be getting slept in a “real fight” by the strike/action which would be absolute common sense and instinct even for an untrained fighter
