Mark hunt, Barnett, shogun, Nog, overeem, werdum etc....
 
Overeem still has an outside chance of another crack at the HW strap title. So does Werdum.

Anyways, 10 years later and Pride guys are still even being talked about. Better than Franklin, Hughes, Liddell, Sylvia, Couture.

Good organization, and a high point in fighter respect.
 
Pride can never die...yes the days of it being an organization are over. But, many MMA enthusiasts will always remember the grand entrances, the tens of thousands of respective fans in attendance, the many awesome fights and challenging tournaments. It was truly the best MMA organization i have ever witnessed.
 
I'm pretty sure Pride has been officially over for some time now.

Shogun and Nog maybe. Who knows about Hunt after his last meltdown. Other three are still going pretty damn strong. Interestingly they're all heavyweights.
 
Was just talking about this the other day. The WEC days are also coming to an end soon it seems.
 
Gotta love Sherdog... a forum full of people who claim to love Pride at the same time they whine and moan about the UFC becoming a circus.
