Why fighters today are no longer focused on training, preparation, self, before the fight? Now,they all spit at others, daily.Fans too!In Japan,it was a mutual respect between major rivals.Back then,we didn't know where they are, what they do before fight,so we were delighted when they entered the arena,50 k crazy fans.Explosion.Fans were still respected them as heroes, and these fighters respected each other

I disagree.

But generally speaking Pride was based in Japan who tend to be more respectful than Americans. UFC is based in Murrica....

You talk like there were no backstage brawls in Pride.

Fan of both.

Oh, fighters, fans and orgs have always shit on folks. Don't mistake Japanese social subtleties for being any more courteous than UFC. US and Western Euros are just
blatant about their shittiness.

Twitter happened, the worst creation in history

No, it just went out of business. That's also the answer to why fighters in The UFC act differently than Japanese fighters. UFC is appealing to a different culture...and again, PRIDE went out of business. They tried holding cards in The USA and didn't do very well.

pride was the shit back in the day anger untested fighters going at it 3 weight classes records dident mean shit fighting styles dident mean shit and your name dident mean shit if you were not fedor you were just another bad ass in the ring lol

UFC has never reached Prides peak level in terms of entertainment, and it's unlikely they ever will.

As much as I love pride, UFC over the years has been a great improvement as far as fighter treatment and payment is concerned.

"Heros get remembered. Legends never die. Follow your heart, kid."

Different time, culture, characters, less money, less promotions, better fighters from entire world, legends, production, true fans...Then they signed Bob Fuckin' Sapp(k-1,pride,),and all shit starts with him.Yes,twitter,fb,etc...

Oh ya, so much mutual respect, no trash talking or drama in PRIDE ever.

Noobs.

Nobody reveres PRIDE more than people who weren't fans when it still existed.
