Khabib is gonna beat Conor standing.

He is gonna close the distance, pressure him, and put him against the cage.....and beat the fuck out of Conor.

Conor is not good at maintaining distance..he gets overwhelmed easily and can't do shit....All you need is a relentless pace like Nate/Khabib do.

He will wear out Conor against the cage and just beat em up....Conor can't do anything except literally turn around and run away to reset...like he did in the Nate fight.


When the distance is that close...Conor's left straight will be a non factor.....Only think Khabib should be careful of is the spamming uppercuts that Conor throws...but he spams that shit so much, Im sure they prepare for it.

Unlike JDS tho...Conor is gonna mentally quit and just give up ASAP...Won't last as long as JDS.

i watched cain vs jds 3 again recently and thats what i was thinking. i just dont understand why people dont go on and on about that fight. the pace cain kept, the punishment jds absorbed while still trying to take cains head off, that shit was superhuman

...and conors cardio and will are obviously sub-human. conor will capoiera kick himself into cardiac arrest

I think Cain blazed through his prime by fighting like a man possessed. Scary fucking guy, we all know JDS will never be the same but I'd argue that Cain used most of his mojo to do it. I hope we get a crazy war tonight

What I find fascinating is that everybody thinks Khabib has to take down Conor.....That isn't true..Khabib has to pressure Conor and doing that up against the cage works very fucking well....Nate Diaz proved this.

i kinda agree, i guess the way i see it, you have to train abominably hard to even be able to put on a performance like that, and its just not sustainable unfortunately

yeah thats definitely something i took away from the cain fight as well man. a lot of it is just cain mixing it up between takedowns, threatening takedowns, and clinch shit against the cage. junior is constantly on the back foot to try to get space to strike, that entire dynamic could work for conor and khabib too, and it would look like khabib dominated him mostly on the feet

Yeah people hating on Conor too much. It's a wildcard fight but let's be real, khabib has 3 finishes in 6 years with his latest one being a sub over a guy with 13 losses which 8 were by sub.

The thing that's not mentioned is if Khabib can't get close to or take Conor down quick then it's gonna be a long night. Khabib hasn't been in wars or tested, the few times he's been tagged he didn't look very composed.
