Khabib will beat Max, whether it be a wide decision or stoppage. Max will have a few good moments. Just like when Michael Johnson "caught" Khabib aka landed a punch....and Joe Rogan's dumb ass blew it out of proportion. Then Sherdog will blow up and propose the "what if Max had more time" "what if Max was fully healthy".

Just throwing it out there.

Anything can happen in MMA.

Max can land some body shots early on that shake up Khabib and affect his takedown ability/cardio for the fight. Max might just have a strength/size advantage that we take for granted, stay on the outside, and make Khabib's ability to get the takedown harder. Maybe Khabib can't finish Max in 2-3 rounds, and in the championship rounds Khabib's cardio is god-awful and Max picks him apart?

There are a lot of possibilities where Max can win if he doesn't get immediately taken and pounded out. The guy IS a championship fighter.

Khabib is a takedown machine, but he does go for the takedown wrecklessly sometimes with a very unorthodox vertical posture and kind of just go all in.

I mean he went fo a flying knee on Barboza to set up one clinch exchange for fucks sake...

Max doesn't seem intimidated whatsover.

Is Max's TDD against Khabib going to look worse than Ngannou's against Stipe? I don't think so. And Ngannou had opportunities to win the fight in quite a few exchanges. Completely different set of circumstances and type of fighters, but I don't think we know for sure how the gas tanks will hold up in the later rounds if it gets there.

I'm just hoping Max can has something to offer Khabib. Dude is the king of his division and a true fighter it would suck for people to think Max is a bum if Khabib dominates him.

I’m not thoroughly over my bitterness in Tony being out, but I hope Max makes it a good fight. Interested to see if he can work his game and not succumb to Khabib’s.

IF Max can stay off the floor he will not only win but it won't be boring because Khabib's ground and pound looks worse than it is, he hit Barboza with the kitchen and bathroom sink and was not even close to stopping him

to be fair when you have 6 days notice its a fair thing to bring up, especially if he does better than we all expect under the circumstances. Fortunately for bib holloway is p similar to ferg in the sense they're both lanky dudes with creative striking.. Fergs jits might have been a better weapon than Holloways tho. End of the day its a smaller guy coming up in weight and making a nasty weight cut on short notice. Unless someone can finally stop the TD bib should be the favorite to win even if max had a full camp

He should win in easy fashion, he's a huge 155'er fighting a 145'er on 6 days notice. If Max is even competitive I think it looks bad for Khabib.
