I understand the logic of them offering players huge money.......but there really is no need for them to go so massive on transfer fees, especially when it's for guys who aren't essential.

Remember when it was obvious PSG wanted rid of Neymar and were apparently willing to accept 20-30m just to get rid, and then the Saudis came in with an opening bid of 80m.

But Rodrygo is younger than Neymar (and not injury prone) and Rodrygo is better LW than what Pool, Arsenal, Chelsea, United or City have right now (though no idea which of those are after Rodrygo, probably not Pool unless they sell Diaz and/or Gakpo).

Still though 130m is alot of money, can be used to buy an LB or two, a dmf and a back up forward, might have cash left from selling Rodrygo for 130m (if it happens).
But lets see how Rodrygo does in the CWC or other players. Camavinga, Alaba or Tchouameni are rumoured to be on players to be sold.

If Felix, Dembele, Griezmann, Grealish, Rice, Hernandez, Coutinho, Hazard, Caicedo, Lukaku and Bellingham get sold for €100m or more, not one bit suprised if Rodrygo gets sold for 100-130m.

Just a rumour but he has been injured alot recently and Xabi wants a dmf with playmaking skills. So no big suprise to me if Tchouameni or Camavinga get sold.

All completely different dynamic. They were all star players at their clubs and moving up.

Rodrygo is the odd man out at Real and moving down.

Ive read several sources that Tchou is indeed one of the players Real are willing to let go, if the right offer was to be made... And even tho havent read Camavinga's name once, i understang the logic ( considering he's been injury prone )

Still if he does leave and a club gets him for €80-90m, great deal for the club who gets him. Odd man out or not, a great winger.
