I think my mind is made up - Amorim can't hack the PL. His style seems too continental and isn't adapting - the team yday was quite strong, absolutely unacceptable result. Think he's gone either in the summer or if he wins EL, xmas.

Always find 3 CBs depressing........no secret 90% of all successful teams play 4 at the back. Trying to change that mid season seems suicidal with the benefit of hindsight. The fact he's too stubborn to adapt is pretty alarming.

Are we really going to bring in 5-6 players to suit his system, and then get rid of him within a year if it doesn't work out? Probably.

Ironically, you could argue not winning the EL would be better for him long term. Playing once a week > making up the numbers in the CL.

Wonder what the realistic expectations are for next year? Top half?

I honestly think that if he loses the final he's gone. Think his entire job hinges on it, and I dont think he succeeds.

If he does win it, top 10 at the very fucking least I would think! So disappointing, I was so pumped for this appointment and it's been a severe letdown so far. The worrying thing is the only thing we hadn't tried so far was a young, progressive highly rated manager - he was the best out there of that calibre.......

Basically the same as EtH this time last year, and we saw how that turned out!

Don't think we've got the money to even bring in the personnel he'll want. Seems almost like a lost cause,,,,the manager and the squad just don't seem like a good fit at all.

No doubt we'll bring in a new manager in December who'll go back to 4-3-3.

Used to thinking at the end of the season for the last decade we need 4-5 players to come in and be a success. Feels like that's more like 10 at this point.
