PREDICTION: UFC fighters will start challening top 10 boxers at a boxing match.

Not going to happen and the UFC won't let it happen. MMA fighters have to focus on so many other things, so they won't be able to stand up to any half-decent boxers in a boxing match.

A "killer instinct" won't do you much good while you're constantly getting punched in the face without even being able to touch the other guy.

You don't have a good grasp of math or science, huh?

That's not it at all. Your 8th grade math skills aren't going to fly over many people's heads. I think what happened is you completely missed the context of this conversation and don't realize your excuse-making is irrelevant.

Unless Floyd could defend td's, subs, kicks, knees, etc, its pretty likely he loses to any UFC-level mmartist in a real fight(assuming no weapons or outside interference).

Assuming no weapons or outside interference makes it not a real fight. That makes it MMA. When will you dummies understand this?

Dos Santos is among a handful of guys who could transition to professional boxing and have a career.

Jon Jones doesn't accidentally have two brothers in the NFL - there are some freak athletes in MMA that could probably do well in a number of other sports.

KJ Noons is a karate base guy who went 11-2 as a pro boxer. Granted he fought nobodies but that is how everyone starts their career in boxing. I consider him a competent striker in MMA, not elite. The elite strikers who are freak athletes could transition to boxing and make a career fighting middle of the pack guys.

Going 11-2 against cab drivers is a pretty shit record.

Actually, you don't even need math skills. You only need common sense. You don't ask only one person if you are trying to figure out what most people [insert statement].
The only possible context where your conclusion makes sense, is if someone claimed or implied that every street fight will be won by someone with grappling skills.
I doubt that was the case.

Noons was a karate guy who moved into boxing, kickboxing and MMA. My point is, if a middle-of-the-pack karate guy can go 11-2 in pro boxing fights on a small circuit, the 'elite' MMA strikers could hang with average boxers.

Don Frye got KTFO by a no-named boxing palooka in a street fight. Interesting thought though.

Wasn't he drunk though?

I think MMA fighters from a striking background, can compete, if they have not already, in Boxing and can at least hold their own. If they focus specifically on Boxing, and exclude everything else from their training, I don't see why not.

My opinion: UFC fighters would start getting knocked out by top 10 boxers. There's a whole different level from somebody who is a specialist versus somebody who is simply proficient at something.

..I doubt that was the case.

I guess i was right earlier when i said you had no idea about the context of the conversation you were commenting on. All you need is common sense to know you should understand what people are talking about before you comment on what they are saying.

MMA fighters would get knocked out by top 200 boxers. There's a huge difference in defensive ability that people don't understand.

Incorrect. Just personally, I have bern involved in "real fights" that didn't involve weapons or outside interference. I'm sure throughout human history it has happened many times a well. And in these instances, the mmartist usually wins. Good luck on trying to make reality fit your bias, though.

So quote me where he literally says this. Because I still doubt it. It's very rare that someone would actually be this stupid.

That doesn't make sense. You put rules on a street fight and tried to call it a "real fight"

That's not a real fight.

Lol... we, including boxers, know that Boxers stand very little chance in a cage.

So far, I can't recall any reputable MMA boxers that transitioned into boxing... yes, including Kimbo Slice.

It would be interesting.

And then they will challenge the top ranked ammature wrestlers to wrestling matches.
