...next year McGregor will shock the world by defeating GSP to finally reclaim his Lightweight Title back (and permanently retire George in the process.)
What do you think are the odds of this happening?
I know elite grapplers and wrestlers are Conor's worst nightmare and GSP is an arguably even better one than Khabib is (obviously he would be if he beats him, especially at this stage in his career), but it's MMA and anything can happen. Even if it meant McGregor pulling out some desperate, high risk maneuver that happened to hit George right on the dome (think of a perfectly timed spin kick or something), it's not out of the question that he could eventually catch him with something deadly. If Matt Serra can do it, so can Conor.
