In an interview on The Luke Thomas Show, Holm wouldn’t confirm that she’d fight Cyborg next if she manages to win the title, even though Thomas directly asked her if she would:

"I know that's probably what they're leaning towards. She's definitely a very big 145er, and...I'm open to whatever fight. I'm always open to whatever challenge comes my way."

    ...

“I don't look too far ahead in the future. If you had asked me before my last fight, do I want to fight for the 145-pound title, I would have said I don't know, I have this fight in front of me. I only take it one fight at a time. That's the way I look into it. But I'm always open to whatever comes my way."

    /

If I had just gone back-to-back losses for the first time in my career, including a striking clinic from a talented Muay Thai fighter that made me feel frightened and helpless, I wouldn't want any of Cyborg either. But that's not how this works, you say the name you take the fight, woman up Holly! I used to have so much respect for you.

Stop reaching, she didn't say anything about not fighting Cyborg or not wanting to fight Cyborg.

That woman gave us the glorious moment in WMMA history, put some RESPEK on her name.

It is strange to see her going to 145 right after she said she wouldn't fight Cyborg there.

Don't see how that quote equates to ducking.

As far as her old tricks go, David Blaine's old tricks are way cooler. That MF'er levitated!

Where did she say she wants out? This "I dont look passed my next fight" is the most common statement mma fighters make.

More importantly wood frogs in the Canadian North are actually frozen solid each year over winter. They produce a natural antifreeze that thaws them each sprint and they spring back to life.

    Think about that.

I like Holm but I don't know how she gets past Randamie. Does she become a grappler for that match?

She sounds unsure about even fighting at 145. Why is she in a title fight?

Holly has always said she doesnt worry about her next fight, nothing new there...

But the bad part about this title fight is that the winner knows that Cyborg will be the next fight...Its like you are happy to win the 145lb title, but now you are gonna lose it, to Cyborg, and get beat up at the same time...
