in the morning i am rushed for time so most days i have a shake made of 8 oz oj 1 sm contanier of yougurt a 1/4 cup berries 1/8 of a cup of oats a teaspoon of flax 1/2 scoop protine powder i have a sm single serving blender that works great my ? is would it be ok to put the stufff in the blending cup at night then just mix it in the morning might save 10 minutes or is a bad thing

personally, I wonder if the yogourt and orange juice could stay friendly for too long.

Put it in the fridge and you have no safety concerns. I'm not sure what effect the acid from the orange juice would have on everything, but I doubt this would cause any problems. The consumability of the end product might be another story.

Also, you definitely should add some spinach or a greens powder.

You didn't add one yesterday, you liar.

Also, I wonder if you could blend certain ingrediants that stay well together, then just add the toher stuff when you need to. Then again, you might not save that much time doing it that way, I don't know...

I don't understand how this could save you that much time. It takes me no more than two minutes to get everything into the blender, and two mintues to blend (the blending only takes that long because I add ice at the end).

That's what I thought. Shakes are not a "quick breakfast" option. Oats, cereal, eggs in micro, etc are quick breakfast options.

For me shakes go down alot quicker than oats or cereal. My stomach has alot easier time dealing with liquid in the morning too, then it does with solids.

That's true, they do digest more quickly. I was talking in terms of prep/eating time.

However, if I eat fast-digesting shakes, etc, I usually grow hungry soon after. But maybe that's just me.
