Practicing your kicks

    If you just train say kicks on your bag no punches just roundhouse kicks trying to get your form better trying to chop down on the bag just trying to over all trying to get your roundhouse kicks better. How long should you train for on the bag. Just kicks whats a good time to train them. 30 minutes 45 minutes a hour.I know it could get boring but I mix up my training. I'll just kick at times,I'll just punch at times and i'll punch and kick at times.

    If you want to practice only working on your roundhouse, I personally like to do it until i'm not sacrificing technique. I go until i'm tired, but once the technique starts to slack because of the cardio then I move onto something else or stop. I don't want to train with not proper technique, but you do need to know how to continue to throw with technique once you start to get tired also, so don't just stop because you work up a sweat lol, but I mean like completely gassed I don't train because then technique is just shit and I don't like practicing bad habits/tech.

    As long as you feel necessary. Pads would be better for getting distance and set up going, and its a little easier to do combos with pads.

    We do this with pads, but you could do it with the bag too, before you do actual bagwork, do 50 kicks each leg. As a warm up or extra tech work.

    Terrible start. Firstly, "your" should be "you're" and hows should be how is. Not sure if you can start a sentence with "and" either.

    You can definetly stat a sentence with ''and'', despite what people are taught in school. It is perfectly viable in a rethorical sense when you wish to follow up a statement with some additional ''Mhfppffff''

    If you are just repping kicks on a bag then 100 times each leg works for me on the occasion i do it.

    you can start sentences with "and", but it's very rare that people do so while involving the proper sense of emphasis. you don't want to just come out, guns blazing with "and" as the first word in your sentence. it's like seeing roy jones drop his hands and taunt his opponent and thinking "i can do that !"-- sure, you can do that, but are you roy jones ? can you back it up when it comes down to it ? probably not...

    Ok guys enough with the hooked on phonics lesson. I didnt know that you had to be Einstien to make posts or have proper sentence structure without someone bashing you and how you write. I thought this was about martial arts instead of how come you dont write well.

    It depends on what yourr technique looks like. If your technique is good then do around 100 per leg. But if you have bad technique id suggest you get that right first before trying to strengthen a bad technique that will be useless in a fight.

    Exactly,

    but today I did 100 round house kicks each leg then I did 50 push kicks each leg then I did 50 side kicks each leg all with good form good power shots and I like doing it this way.Then after I finished with the legs I did the Bas Rutten boxing cd 3 minute rounds with a minute rest and it was a great workout. Then I stretched did my abs leg lifts and its all good.I'll be doing this way for now on
