IT's definitely low volume work but underneath it all there's some decent info regarding tension, training the nervous system, not training to failure etc.

It's one of the only books by Pavel that I would recommend someone spending money on.

yeh i was thinking bout getting it but i think i could pick up some better books to start with the best book i got of pavels is his stretching one

Yeah but the program is a simple approach to getting stronger. I wouldn't recommend it for elite athletes or anything like that.

how do you tell whether your fast twitch or slow twitch

Are you a sprinter or long distance runner? Have you historically been better at endurance events or sprint type, burst events? That's a basic overview. But I don't put too much emphasis on muscle types.

when i first started lifting heavy, i spent 2-3 weeks on his power to the people programme. it was really a great investment in time to put into practice the principles he writes about. definitely worth it. especially since I dislocated my left shoulder a few years ago, it's been sensitive to lifting. but after reading P2P I haven't had any problems, as it basically teaches you how to lift heavy, but safely.

his other books are just...ok.

One of the few things actually god about the book is it teaches a simple approach
