The fun part and why people watched it on youtube was because it was random Russians in a garage or some rednecks in a field. Trying to turn it into "da next big thing, a totally legitimate sport!" is what's laughable. Everyone will laugh if they see someone getting a good slap now and then. Having two guys stand across from each other with a literal coin flip determining who gets CTE this evening and pretending it's a competitive sport is moronic. The comparisons to MMA in its infancy aren't valid, it isn't even a fight, it's the stupidest form of endurance competition possible. If Dana wasn't so blasted all the time and made it an actual fight with the guys able to move around, defend themselves, basically competitive full contact slap boxing, it would still be stupid, but at least it would be defendable.
