Any takers?
to be honest, I always thought it sucked that people would quote the first amazing shoop they saw then wouldn't quote any others, and the artists would have no clue what people thought of their efforts. I know the bumps are needed but getting likes at least highlights which shoops hit the nail on the head and which went right over their headsSee, this is why shoop threads have largely fallen by the wayside since the new forum changeover. The like system has made it so shoop threads aren't bumped nearly as often because people click the like button instead of expressing their interest using their words, even if those interests were in the form of typed laughter.

it's a pros and cons thing, I agree with Jeicex and others that have highlighted why shoop threads don't get enough bumps these days, and it's killed me having to make more and more shoops so a thread gets bumped, then watching as it plummets off the first page in minutes, and often because every member insists on making a new thread with a 1 paragraph OP that they could've shared in a billion other threads made that day. Bumps are 100% essential for the life of a shoop threadInteresting considerations.
