You're worried about that... whereas some of us would like the talk of "money" fights to cease - especially without a single friggin title defense.

I don't necessarily agree. The longest title run at Heavyweight is 2 defenses. That's 20 years of fighting and only 2 title defenses holds the record. That goes back way farther than USADA. Fighters like GSP and Anderson Silva who defend for years on end are very rare and it just may be that right now there are no fighters present like them.
