Aside from the disparity in damage, post-fight reactions from Dom and Cody clearly indicate who won.

Cruz didn't want an immediate rematch and Cody did.

Cruz knew it wasn't close enough to ask for one, and probably recognizes he needs time to figure out a different strategy. Cody walked away feeling comfortable enough to want to do it again, and would rather see Cruz than TJ at this point.

The complete opposite of the Woodley-Thompson fight, which was scored a draw.

Cody would be foolish to think Cruz won't adjust and won't be way more difficult to beat in a rematch ;) He's not done yet with Cruz, you can count on that

Yeah Cody did great but Dom didn't look his best to me. Didn't look quite as light on his feet. Cruz ended up making the 3rd round close despite being knocked down, and could have easily won 2 & 5...which I think 2 judges gave him. If he comes out and looks a little bit sharper he can for sure take a decision vs Cody.

I have seen a few people say that cruz won. What is wrong with these people?

Cruz was just being respectful of the performances and probably wants more mileage and tape on cody for the rematch.

Thats' the point. If he felt he had beat him or could beat him in an immediate rematch he'd be pounding the table asking for one.

He knows he can beat him and said he can beat him. Any fight between TJ/Cody/Cruz is gonna go back and forth. They can all beat one another.

Doms age is beginning to show. He is going to have to make some serious adjustments. He needs to work on his timing.

I strongly believe Cruz could have won that fight with just his jab and less aggression.

  13. I don't see a world where a beat up, no power Cruz beats Cody. Dude is less athletic, less speed, less power, I honestly do not know, besides something like a flying knee, how Cruz could beat him at this point.

He'll KO Cruz in a rematch instead of toying with him

i find it strange that cody, after saying he ko'd tj in training, would want a rematch with dom over a fight with tj

Wanted Cruz to win. He didn't. A rematch would be great and might go a different way but the TJ fight they can sell. Money wise would be better to wait for the Cruz rematch
