ok, you find as many gi sites as you can.........here's a start -

find a gi your interested in, and go to their size page.
look and see if they have a gi that fits your height and weight.........bingo, you've just found your ideal gi.
if you can't find the info you're looking for, email them and ask for advice.

it is meant as a common sense guide. every 'what kimono?' thread always lists everyones fave gi........we all know them off by heart, and they all fit differently. so if you want the 'best gi', do a bit of research, check the websites, get the info............etc,etc.
it just seems to me, some folks are just too lazy to put in the research, and find the answers for themselves! they would rather hear several different people tell them to get such 'n' such gi, and end up picking the the one they want anyway, regardless of how it will ultimately fit.
i'm not trying to be an arse, but if you want the best,do the research and get the one that will fit you right, because a ' gi is just a gi' at the end of the day, and all the top brands are going to be quality, regardless of which 'name' you go for.
and as for lists, i'd have thought the links that are provided would give anyone a place to start!

What we really need to do is compile a list of gi retailers and distributors, but that could be time consuming. I may work on it at some stage.
