Great little video from Mark Steyn entitled Tomorrow by the Numbers. It's about how much the population of Western Europe & Sub-Sahara Africa will change from the beginning to the end of the 21st century. It's all pretty scary stuff really, if you are in Europe anyway.
The growth in the number of people in Africa over this century will be staggering. While at the same time Western Europeans just aren't having many kids anymore, if any at all.
There are already thousands leaving Africa in little boats and rubber dingies hoping to be picked up by people like the Italian navy, once they're picked up they've made it.
If millions of Africans wish to make the journey to Europe, then Europe with find it cannot defend itself.

I you're worried about birth rates then you should be freaking out about climate change, Nigeria alone is predicted to reach 500 million people by 2060 and they've already destroyed over 96% percent of their forests as of 2019. When African countries start to become unlivable it's not going to be pretty when hundreds of millions of people suddenly start looking for new places to live.

This. Just think how bad things will be when Africa reach 4 billion people, how much greenhouse gas they're going to emit, how climate change will make Africa, already a dry place, even worse.
The media is already preparing us, to a degree, with the "Africa is so big" meme. It's true, Africa is bigger than Europe, smaller than Asia and smaller than the Americas. It will have a larger population than Asia by 2100 and it's simply less suited for agriculture than Asia, since large parts of Africa are deserts and most importantly many countries are dysfunctional. Do not expect the CAR, Somalia, Mali or Chad to grow any significant amounts of food.

Stephen Hawking was one of the few leading public figures who would talk about this and the disastrous consequences it will have on humanity and the planet, but you could tell even he had to be very careful about what he said so as not to bring on the predictable outrage.

As long as the European leaders secure their borders, instead of letting everyone in and showing them the way to the welfare line, everything will be ok.
And by everything I mean everything that matters. That they choose to fuck up their continent by overpopulating it is their problem. If we are going to help them in any way it has to be by helping them to decrease their population.
