It was very interesting to see people's reactions I was suprised to see who came out against him, I've noticed other journalists like Karyn Bryant have been noticeably quiet too, but in my opinion the reaction has been overwhelmingly supportive of Ariel.

I saw Tim Kennedy & Jon Jones come out in favor of Ariel

One of the 'biggest' MMA pages came out against him (they deleted their tweets) so I took it upon myself to check them out and let's just say they didn't like it one bit.

Any other finds for or against?

I'm sure Ariel will be waiting by his phone to get the call from Tim Kennedy.

Karyn Bryant isn't going to say shit. She's probably the one who is going to take Ariel's spot in this. I'm sure she knows this situation is pretty fucked up but it doesn't behoove her to speak up in any way.

lol, UFC shills and their fake accounts getting exposed big time

He is coming out of this smelling like roses. Ariel knew this was going to happen and he did it anyway. He is building his brand and this is one way to do it. Right now he is laughing and enjoying how it all played out.

UFC shill reporting in.

So what is your opinion on the matter? Do you support or no?
I'm absolutely behind Helwani, the problem is not the journalist, the problem is in the company that leaks the story to the journalist.

I disagree about him enjoying this, I think Ariel is clearly gutted that his MMA reporting days may be numbered, but at the same time it's clear to me that Ariel has seen the writing on the wall for some time, I wonder if that's the reason he's been talking about basketball so much lately...

I hope he bounces back in some way or other, i'd like this mess to get sorted out and to see him back doing what he does best but if not I think he'll be a success working in another sport.

The UFC hates you if you skip out on media, the UFC hates you more if you do too good of a job in media.

Maybe the issue is not the media or doing media, maybe the real issue is the UFC trying to control the media.

Im hope to fucking god she does not, I really cant stand her journalism. I find it shit and very boring, she already gets undeserved attention just because she is female and very vaguely attractive. I still remember her cringe moment when Tito beat Bader and she called Tito 'baby' using her sexuality to grab his attention, fuck off Karyn :D

Hardly any one will say shit because if they do they will also feel the iron rod of the ufc . It's unfortunate that they are corrupt fucks but this is the way it is .
Look what they did to stitch .
They wont back down, I'd be very surprised. They never do .

100 percent behind Ariel and I will miss his interviews as he's the only guy brave enough to ask scary questions.

It's all shit now as we are left with those who toe the line for fear of losing their credentials....

Yup, instead of Brock Bisping and Nate being the headline, it's Ariel.

He was not happy about it. Listen to the latest episode of the MMA and you'll hear him get very emotional about it.

She should be the only one allowed to interview Rampage tho.

Especially after his fights.

Speaking of Rampage (or Nick Diaz even), the UFC treats the media like crap. I don't recall the UFC saying anything or even discouraging fighters to not lay hands on Ariel or making threats of violence against him. Rampage slaps him and pushes him around. Nick threatens to slap him. In both cases, he was asking tough questions. He didn't ask personal questions that were out of bounds. Hopefully in the future they address this issue also. Can't have fighters on their payroll trying to intimidate media members. **Not sure if the Nick Dias "where I'm from people get slapped for doing that" interview was in the UFC or another org.

I disagree, then we would never see rampage motorboat Karyn. Or rampage dry hump that cute reporter.

What about when Ariel instigated Tito in his fight with Bader, saying Tito said Bader had "weak wrestling", when Tito never actually used the term "weak wrestling" and only said he saw holes in Bader's takedown and takedown defense. But Ariel had to try to start shit and put words in Tito's mouth. That does deserve to get Ariel slapped.
