What popular movies do you think are either over-rated, or maybe just not even very good? Discuss:

Snatch.

It was great when I was thirteen
and any film with bareknuckle
fighting, accents that I wasn't
accustomed to hearing, and guns
could hold my attention. But
revisiting it... it's almost literally
you're average cliche shoot em
up flick. C+ average film
 
The King's Speech, and pretty much any other movie about british royalty.
 
The Hobbit
Bridesmaids
Iron Man 2 and 3
Grown Ups 2

Gladiator. Yeah I said it. Stupid mtv style jump cuts in every fight scene. Overrated garbage started that trend.
 
12 Years a Slave, Pulp Fiction, Mad Max: Fury Road, any of the original Star Wars movies - though I can understand those as technical achievements, at least.
 
One of the most highly regarded movies of all time and it bored the piss outta me; The Godfather. Agreed on Gladiator and also pretty much everything by Chris Nolan with the exception of Memento.

No need to insult Joanna like a 12 year old because a poster with her AV doesn't like your opinion in movies. I expect better of you.
 
Forrest Gump is the first thing that came to mind. How that won over shawshank and pulp fiction(overrated too), I will never know
 
Scarface. Not that its not good, its just that I saw it late and it had been so hyped for me... it just failed to live up to it.
