Football. I played football from the age of 12 to my senior year in HS.. I rolled center, and defensive tackle.. and I'm not all that big. Now I find it extremely boring. The football elitists at work and so forth have never even played the game.. Strange.

He was charged, arrested, tried by jury, and found innocent. Not too much else you can do about it. As Mike Vick, Rae Carruth, and Plaxico Burress can attest, being a football player is no guarantee you won't go to jail if you're guilty.
Now, if it comes out that Lewis was guilty later, then by all means he deserves everything Pharmstrong is getting. But Pharmstrong, the largest name in cycling for about a decade and arguably a national hero, was proven guilty, ruined a few people's lives, defrauded the government, and is still playing the asshole victim role to this day. I'd say he's deserved quite a bit of the heat he's gotten.

This is pretty much the rant I use on this subject. Really hard not to come across as bitter, unfortunately.
But yeah, Twitter, Facebook et al just take a lot of the mystery out of life and bring us closer to a "Big Brother" type society. I'm not on any social media sites and it's amusing to watch peoples reaction when they find this out.

"Er, they could talk to me maybe?"
The football (soccer or nfl) thing I don't get at all. I have a favourite team, I watch when I can and get annoyed when they lose, although that's usually cos i've lost money on them.
I don't wish to have their name tattooed on me or spout racist abuse at the opposition fans. Don't understand why certain people do.

The cheap players are for people who enjoy hearing the same songs over and over. I like the I-pod where I can play it 8 hours a day and not hear the same songs all week. Listening to radio stations I can tell what time it is by what song is playing because most of them have rather short playlists.

Blu ray discs.Some are good.Some have that buzzing annoying sound that makes me buy the original format.
Twitter.Never used it,don't plan on doing so.Instagram,don't know how to use it either.
Hollywood remakes.Most of them don't top the original so why try to recreate the magic.
Zumba,crossfit and every other new workout regime that comes out every year.I've seen some crossfit workouts and that ish looks rushed and dangerous.Just take ya ass to the gym,cycle class,walk trail whatev.

i've heard of people meeting other people and instead of asking them if they'd like to meet and hang out later, or asking them for their number so they can give them a call, they ask them for their online handles (such as on facebook). what's the world coming to? :icon_conf
