well trump is right. jesus did say in the new testament "if you have a feast, invite the poor. except if they are mexicans, then build a wall and keep those fuckin leeches out."

although the more i think about trump's response the creepier it is. "when those terrorists are raping and killing you and you call me for help, i'm not gonna come b/c you said i wasn't a christian."

it reads like the thought process of a psycho.

Hrm... He does kind of have a point. Whereas Trump's wall is even less likely to happen than his presidency, the Vatican is technically a sovereign country and it has a wall.

If and when the Vatican is attacked by ISIS, which as everyone knows is ISIS’s ultimate trophy, I can promise you that the Pope would have only wished and prayed that Donald Trump would have been President because this would not have happened. ISIS would have been eradicated unlike what is happening now with our all talk, no action politicians.

The Mexican government and its leadership has made many disparaging remarks about me to the Pope, because they want to continue to rip off the United States, both on trade and at the border, and they understand I am totally wise to them. The Pope only heard one side of the story – he didn’t see the crime, the drug trafficking and the negative economic impact the current policies have on the United States. He doesn’t see how Mexican leadership is outsmarting President Obama and our leadership in every aspect of negotiation.

For a religious leader to question a person’s faith is disgraceful. I am proud to be a Christian and as President I will not allow Christianity to be consistently attacked and weakened, unlike what is happening now, with our current President. No leader, especially a religious leader, should have the right to question another man’s religion or faith. They are using the Pope as a pawn and they should be ashamed of themselves for doing so, especially when so many lives are involved and when illegal immigration is so rampant.

Trump is 100% right. According to ISIS eschatology, Constantinople and Rome were the primary European targets of Muhammad. One has fallen, the other has not.

Dammit, just when I want to wash my hands of the Donald, he goes and starts making perfect sense again, once again blasting a pompous world leader (like he did a Saudi prince).

Pope is anything but pompous and he was being interviewed and asked a question, i can translate word by word.

Its not like other hypocrites taking a shot at Trump.

The walls have historical and patrimonial value, but there is no control to get inside the Vatican's frontier, you freely walk from Roma to Saint-Peter's square. The waiting line is only to get inside the museum and the Sistine chapel.
 
The Pope should have brushed up on his history of Popes before declaring Donald Trump has said or done enough to preclude him from being a Christian. Glass houses and whatnot.

He's been a better Pope than the last but that was a very pompous statement. Not to mention hypocritical.

Donald Trump called on him first and that particular statement wounded up in a press conference asked by a reporter, he even said he gives Trump the benefit of the doubt since he was oblivious to what he said.
 
The pope didnt say trump isn't a Christian; he said building walls and keeping people out isn't the Christian way.
