Poor guy is still being nice. Lol.

If there was ever a time he’s not getting a title shot, it’s now. His last loss was to TJ. At BW you have TJ hating Cruz and wanting to fight him, behind him is Moraes who would be an incredible fight. On top of that, Cejudo just threw his name in the mix too. Nobody even mentioned Assunsao to TJ at the press conference, poor guy

Assuncao will step up after Cruz pulls out of the fight.

The problem is that no one actually believes he can beat TJ

The best version of Assuncao barely beat a green TJ. Moraes vs TJ is the fight to make, because Marlon could very easily sleep him.

Would rather see TJ fight Moraes than whooping Assuncao again.

Raphael got schooled badly against TJ at UFC 200. Really not an intriguing fight at all.

Doubtful. Moraes will be looking to do the same. He fought Sterling on very short notice and mentioned he would be ready to step into a title shot if someone was injured.

I think they will schedule Assunsao beforehand so that doesn’t happen lol

At BW, Moraes is the fight.

It’s unfortunate due to prior history that TJ prefers to fight Cruz. Him fighting Moraes would actually be a good fight.

TJ vs Moraes and Cruz vs Assuncao are the fights to make.

Cody got a title shot after getting KTFO, but Assuncao cant get one after a decision, rebounding with four wins (one over Moraes) and being 1-1 with TJ?

I agree Moraes would be a funner fight but dammit Assuncao deserves it.

I'd rather watch Dom as an analyst than watch him fight. Give the title shot to Assuncao or Moraes.

That's a big factor that I feel like Assunsao may not understand. Sure, he's won a lot of fights in a row.

But I watched both his first fight with TJ, and his second fight with TJ live, they are 1-1 but they were both STINKERS. No one is clamoring for a trilogy, let alone for the belt, when there other exciting challengers.

Moraes has knocked two straight top 6 fighters dead within a minute. That is logically going to generate more hype.

I feel for him... But goddamn is he a boring fighter.

Unfortunately MMA is an entertainment business and he is not entertaining in any way.

I respect him as a fighter and person. I actually like that he won't sell himself out for money... But the obvious consequence if that is that he's not going to make much money.

TJ doesn't hate Dom. Not since they bonded over their mutual affection for Toyo tires.
