Cain vs Werdum rematch? Just WTF! Should let JDS fight for the belt first THEN Cain fights one more time and takes the winner... We all know If Cain wins he's gonna sit on his ass for another two years again
UFC already struggles with no storylines, at least put some common sense into matchmaking

For WW, let Nick Diaz come back and fight for the belt! He did knock Robbie's ass out cold! Way better fight then the NBR

And why is Rousey vs Tate III even made???

    What are they thinking!

    2. have you seen the ppv estimate numbers this year so far? ufc is having great success with ronda and conor. Multiple successful ppvs
    3. jds should fight overeem while werdum should fight AA and cain should fight stipe in my opinion.

You didn't complete the sentence. Poor matchmaking is whats killing the UFC's value to a few sherdoggers who will continue to watch anyway.

At least Condit is coming off of a win. Who has Nick beaten to get a title shot in the UFC? BJ Penn? He beat Lawler over 10 years ago, man. I'm all for storylines to pump up a fight but you can't just piss on my leg and tell me it's raining.

I agree that Cain and Tate don't deserve title shots yet, though.

Agree the UFC has had poor matchmaking for years. Title shots given to people unworthy of a shot at the championship, rematches given out to those that were clearly beaten yet no rematches to those that had a very close fight. Then we have interim titles that are complete garbage and should be considered #1 contender fights instead.

Nothing is killing the UFC. The UFC is having a great year. Being a Diaz fan is killing TS.

As much as I don't care for that match up, Miesha has actually earned it.

there's not much we can do about it, except don't buy those ppv. ronda vs tate 3 is a joke and the criticisms that the ufc receives, it is deserved.

Nick should be nowehere near a title shot, he'd need to win atleast two or three fights first, regardless of something he did over ten years ago.

Such poor match making that they just had back to back monster PPV's and are on track to one of their best years in company history? And no, I don't think Cain's rematch is deserved. I do think that Tate's rematch is deserved after a 4 fight win streak and I don't even want to see another Rousey-Tate rematch.

For the most part they get the match ups done pretty decently. Once in a while I shake my head, but clearly the audience doesn't seem to mind so other than some on and off natterings about "deserving" a title shot there's really not that much to complain about.

Some fights are about contention and the title. Some fights are about drawing more viewers. And some fights are just filler (like Correia) that exist only to fit the schedule. The fight game has always had to balance them. Just look at Mayweather vs Berto... awful fight but they'll still pull a ton of PPV's. I would much rather have seen Mayweather fight Golovkin or Amir Khan, but it is what it is.

UFC match making is tough. It's never going to work out perfectly for Joe Silva and Dana. As far as Cain vs Werdum i don't agree with the fight, i think Andrei Arlovski should have gotten the title shot but it is what it is.
As far as welterweight no one wants to see Robbie vs Hendricks again, and UFC didn't feel like Woodley was ready or worthy of title shot so Condit got the shot. It's not the most logical but it's one hell of a fight. Two savages.

I entered here coming to agree with you.

And then you suggested Nick Diaz, a man on a 3 fight losing streak who hasn't done shit in MMA for years and can't pass a drug test, getting a title shot.

And then I saw your user name.

Most of you Diaz fans are as jaded as they come.
