The guy brings a storm that very few people can survive. He can be a champ at lw if he gets the right match-up. But NOBODY can hold on to that title for long. That's why I hope he sticks to fw he only cuts 20 pounds which is typical for a lot fighters. He can be one of the most dominant champions in UFC history in that division.

Nobody can out-tough Nick and Nate though, and that's why I believe Nate will win. “When you put the UFC roster on the mountain, these guys think they’re tough, and we all run up that mountain, I’ll bet you I’m going to be at the top of that mountain, and probably see my brother up there.”

I don't feel like he's a front runner. He just fought Diaz.

Conor just needs to fight Nate like he is his equal and then the true athletic creativity of the goat will shine.

I wish there were more threads about Conor.

I re-watched the fight last night and prior to Conor gassing he clearly out boxed Nate. That's a feat in itself as Nate is bigger, and known as a top tier boxer in MMA. I had forgotten how well he did in that fight.

Not sure he is a "frontrunner" but damn sure don't count him out.

He came from behind against Mendes, so I don't know if you can really say that.

What this guy said. Come August 20th the real 200 goes down yeh

Yes, he leads with the intent of forcing his opponent into trowing a punch that he can counter.

I want my vote back. I think I misunderstood what you meant by "front runner."

Front runner as in a guy that comes in hard but fades later in a fight. What did you vote?

I doubt nate even got any boxing in before that fight. Probably just ran to get in shape as well as he could for it being less than 2 weeks notice. Doubt connie does as well on the feet this time, nate even said he was suprised he got hit as much as he did. Mcnugget is going to try and pace himself and not just throw bombs till he gasses.

Dont matter tho, nates gonna slap the shit outta grownskeeper willie and probably tap him again. I would love to see nate ko/tko him.

Yeah, that's close enough to what I thought and I voted yes. I'd always thought of it as a psychological thing: you're strong when you clearly have the advantage, but you don't react well once you are challenged.

I guess once I read your O.P. I got confused about what we were talking about.

They are fighting again in less than 3 weeks, you can stop trying to pull some weird type of "quasi-victory" from the fact that conor won the first round and a half of a 5 round fight, especially against a guy with no training camp. Just give it up.
it's enough already. he lost the first fight, without question. They're fighting again. </threat>

This is kind of an ambiguous poll
