i think this is the plan, there is no other reason for this fight to happen at @170. Dana knows that Conor would have an easier time with Robbie than RDA @155. @145, Aldo is going to have to wait
 
It was already said that his next fight after UFC 200 would be to defend his FW belt, wether he wins or loses vs Diaz.
 
It would literally be the biggest bullshit in the history of title shots. He'd be 1-1 as a WW, even though he'd never faced a WW.
 
I don't want to see Robbie vs Conor... Conor is a legit badass but could actually get hurt.

Like others have stated Conor is facing the Frankie/Aldo winner no matter what. Also the fight is happening as a duplicate of the last so it is completely the same so if Conor wins there is so stipulation. People could argue that COnor isn't good at WW but is at LW if they were to fight at LW. This way it is complete redemption. Also is would be very hard to give Conor a title shot after beating a guy he just lost to who isn't a top 10 WW despite how they have been favoring him lately
 
The only reason it is at 170 is so that Conor can stuff the mouths of people like Biblical and Breaking. "Sure he beat him at 155 but El Tapo is terrified of Diaz at 170, He can only beat midgets and even then Frankie, Nick Lentz, Urijah would beat him....heck everyone would beat him, he is the worst fighter of all time!".
 
I wonder if he'd enjoy eating his steak on a straw...
 
I don't see Conor beating Diaz in the rematch but I think its a terrible plan. They are trying to suck Conor dry as a cash cow where hes at a significant disadvantage. They're much better off trying to get him in a match with RDA again or with Cruz if they're looking for a super fight. Hes not big enough to compete with legitimate WWs and he would get demolished by Robbie.

This is so funny....the butt hurt has warped reasoning. Breaking's definition of weight class isn't what you weigh in at, it is 'what is the lowest weight you have weighed in at before'. Therefor, Gus, Phil Davis, Arlovski all got owned by a WW in Rumble. Heck, why stop there? Why not go to your lowest weight in life? Cormier got wrecked by 7lb 7oz baby weight jon jones.
 
Conor will fight GSP if he wins. How do the majority of people not see this?

Not at all. Nate Diaz isn't a ranked WW, is he? Why would a win over him at WW any cache in the division?

Butt hurt has nothing to do with it. How could you justify Conor getting a title shot at WW with a 1-1 record at WW vs. Nate Diaz?

Could Tyrone Woodley, Wonderboy, Condit, Maia or Magny get a shot with those credentials?

Talk about warped reasoning...
 
WHy the fuck would he get a title shot at 170 when he beat a 155 guy? That makes no sense at all.
 
I want to see Conor vs Lawler badly. This fight has to happen.

Tell me with a straight face you dont want to see Conor get launched into Row Z with a Lawler left hook.
