Yeah. LHW is thin outside UFC but there are some decent fighters.
Jan Blachowicz(now injured), Pat Cummins, Vitor Miranda, Maxim Grishin, Steve Bosse, Brandon Ropati, Moise Rimbon, Matej Batinic, Stephan Puetz, etc.

Jan Blachowicz(now injured), Pat Cummins, Vitor Miranda, Maxim Grishin, Steve Bosse, Brandon Ropati, Moise Rimbon, Matej Batinic, Stephan Puetz, etc.

I can only see 3-4 of those guys being worth adding though (mainly Miranda, Bosse, Ropati and Jan). Quality light heavies are hard to find these days and I bet we'll spend a lot of TUF 19 cringing whenever the 205ers are trumpeted out.

Cummins is the most promising LHW prospect now.
Grishin and Rimbon have wins against legit opponents(I know Rimbon is little bit old).
Batinic and Puetz aren't bad signing for European series.

With all due respect, I think the fact that we're trying to convince ourselves that 16-6 Grishin and 20-9 Rimbon would be worthwhile signings speaks to the top heaviness of the division.


That doesn't mean they're bad fighters, mind you. I just don't see them as being anything more than the equivalent of those Jungle Fight guys they add at the last minute on Brazil cards.

I still like Daniel Tabera and think he could make a good gatekeeper at 205.
