Maybe you don't label yourself as such, but your participation in these forums seems to heavily lean conservative, and if that's the case, I don't understand how you could be pissed off that someone was unfairly fired when conservatives constantly promote the idea of at-will employment.
Or perhaps you're a libertarian? In that case, the contradictory nature of your post is even worse.
Why do I have an awfully hard time believing that you would be just as upset if the person being fired was a baggy pantsed BLM hood who was making fun of Trump while in uniform and on the job?
I mean, come on. We both know you would be singing the praises of free markets in defense of the employer.
If you must know, I am somewhere between a conservative and a libertarian and yes, I would have issue with a cop being fired for making fun of trump, biden, or anyone. Suspended I understand, but fired? No
