If that fight proved anything, it's that Khalil was good enough to be in that octagon. Dude was a game fighter, and landed early on. For a contender many thought shouldn't be in there, he handled himself well. Took some bombs, kept it standing and lasted far longer than expected once it turned into a one-sided ass kicking.
Also, Alex doesn't seem to come to defend his title, he comes to win. In an era where all the champs are point fighting and picking easy opponents, here's Alex just laying waste to the LHW division and looking for the kill. I do like how methodical Alex became once he knew Khalil was in trouble. Didn't blow his wad just throwing wild or at air, just picked his shots and stayed calm and patient. I didn't care for how low he kept his hands, but I guess Alex knew he wasn't in much danger at that point.
The two body shots he ripped at the end were vicious. Good fight.
