I need to update my ipod.

This is some of the stuff I usually listen to while training:

    Sepultura - Roots
Lamb of God - Dead Seeds, Ruin, Walk with Me in Hell
Rage Against the Machine - Killing in the Name Of
    Killswitch Engage - My Curse
    Disturbed - Indestructible
    Converge - Damages
    Pantera - Shedding Skin
    Megadeth - Architecture of Aggression
    Isis - Grinning Mouths
    Baroness - Golgotha

Based on this I'd really be grateful for some recommendations.

This is not a music forum. Having said that, that's some heavy shit you're listening to - though more of a thrash fan myself, I like all of the stuff you listed and especially for lifting when you need to feel like the biggest motherfucker in the room. These are songs that get shit up off of the ground and which you might like:

    Song - Artist:
    ObZen - Meshuggah
    Eaten - Bloodbath
Future Breed Machine Mayhem Version - Meshuggah
    Throwing Down - Exodus
    Souls of Black - Testament

    Robot - Big Dumb Face
    D.N.R - Testament
War is my Shepherd - Exodus
    Refuse/Resist - Sepultura
    Jihad - Slayer

Also check out Auto Da F

    your gaye.

Treadstarter listed Disturbed, KE, RATM and Megadeth, which I love, so I gave him another band I recently found and love.

Check out these bands (songs off top of head to right if I can think of some):

Rise against- behind closed doors, prayer of the refugee, ready to fall, savior
All that remains- whispers, chiron, six, two weeks
Disturbed just released a new album 2 weeks ago called "asylum"
    Trivium
    Slipknot- wait and bleed
    Atreyu- becoming the bull
    Thrice
    five finger death punch?

If you want good heavy rock, but not as screamo check out

    Anything by 3 days grace
    bullet for my valentine
    breaking Benjamin
    chevelle
    Linkin park
    Red
    System of a Down
    Thousand foot Krutch

There is much better killswitch than that, look into their older stuff. In that mix I'd throw in some Hatebreed, etc.

If your frequency is keyed up enough, go even crazier and get some Carcass, Bloodbath, Vader, maybe some Dimmu Borgir, old Morbid Angel, shit like that.

    Megaherz
    Gojira

I also like Volbeat, but they're not as heavy.

I don't think you have the first clue what "screamo" is, because you didn't mention a single screamo band in this post.

    Screamo is bands like:
    Hot Cross
    Circle Takes The Square
    Saetia
    Orchid
    Raein
    Love Like...Electrocution
    Joshua Fit For Battle
    Pg. 99
    Funeral Diner

These bands represent everything I hate about what popular rock music has become.
