Tony is overrated as fuck on here. He’s sloppy as hell and doesn’t really excel in any areas, apart from being a creep

He'd still declass your boy Perry.
I don’t really understand the thought behind this post. Both men are at different points in their careers and obviously fighter A will beat fighter B if there is a significant enough difference in experience.

I agree that Khabib would pound Cuckuy out, but the fight won't happen.
Khabib will fight Conor in Russia instead. Cuckuy's fake belt will be terminated for irrelevance.
lmfao.
Show me another fighter that went on a 10-fight winstreak in the UFC's toughest division.
You're a fool if you think Tony is overrated. If anything, he is underrated.
He finds a way to win somehow
Tony vs Conor is the only legit fight to make, you want your boy protected a little longer? Defend an interim belt give me a break.
Tony vs Khabib is a pick em fight to me.
Khabib looked impressive against Barboza, but Barzoba is one of the weakest grapplers in Lw Top10,
although his striking is great, he loses it when pressured ( like MJ fight or Cucuy, who finished Barboza btw).
Tony has creative striking, will threaten Khabib with 8 limbs and his elbows are deadly and will cut Khabib.
Khabib is no Lando to catch Tony clean, his striking improved, but still stiff and straightforward.
Also he has much better wrestling and BJJ than Barboza, will be able to defend takedowns better
and actually threat Khabib with subs and elbows on the ground.
And CARDIO - Cucuy went multiple times for 5 rounds HARD and won,
while Khabib hasn't and there is a chance Tony will tire him out.
For Khabib, of course, his strength and grappling and GNP are his advantages over Tony ( although Tony is bigger and stronget than Barboza or MJ).
So it's a 50-50 fight for me.
while I could even contemplate what you are saying, it was Khabib who dropped from that fight. So everybody can see how easily Khabib beats him
Tony is very lucky to be holding the belt,
If the interim title fight would have been against Khabib, he would have never held it in his life.
There is a difference between a A-level fighter and a A+ level fighter
Don't forget that Lando almost beat the hell out of Tony and that he was losing to Barboza until he caught him in a submission fair and square.
Don't also forget the fact that Kevin Lee was able to take him down and full mount him. Khabib is on another level when it comes to grappling/takedowns.
Let the hate begin virgins

Ten fights in a row against much lesser opposition. Khabib is on another level to be fair. He rushes in which is his only downfall, but he won’t have to do that, he can afford to be patient against Ferguson because Tony lacks that debilitating power of say a Barbosa.Exactly, and he did that for 10 fights in a row, now. Despite being rocked, tagged, even dominated. He always ends up winning the fight.
I honestly said the exact same things as you did a few fights ago. Striking is sloppy, footwork is predictable, etc. But the dude just wins and can not be taken out of a fight.
I don't see him as a favorite against Khabib, but Tony can pull a Submission outta his magic wizard hat and choke you the fuck out, even after getting dominated for 4,5 rounds. Which is what makes the match-up so intriguing and so dangerous.
People tend to forget he has the best BJJ at Lightweight, by far. He's not just a striker.
I said before Tony should get his Conor money if he fights Khabib. Why would Tony even take that fight if it isn't for the proper title? They'd probably have to pay him a shitload to do it.
The thing is, they won't pay him for a fight he isn't gonna take.Yeah... Okay. Pretty sure the UFC couldn't pay Conor enough for that sacrifice.
Casuals will not care. They'll pay regardless. To see Khabib or Conor. Not Cuckuy.
So business-wise , it won't be retarded for them. They'll do it
