Played first softball game: Sucked

I went 1-3 with a single and no RBI's. Probably had 3 errors. Local's take this shit too seriously. I'm in the dugout all trying to be cool and they worried bout the score. We ain't bout to win any money! Anyways, just wanted to let ya'll know I'm bout to be the first player ever cut from a co-ed softball team. Much love from Mexico City.
 
If there isn't a couple of 24's in the dugout on a redeye tourney, it's not fun.
 
Maybe you can lobby for a DH rule?

People are nuts. I used to be in a kickball league KICKBALL! and there was a fight nearly every game. Part of that is because there was some heavy drinking going on but still.

In all seriousness, don't sweat it. If they cut you, fuck them. Find a league that is on your skill level whatever that may be. If you find yourself not having fun same thing, but have mates on the team, find a different roll. Baseball is about fun.

Sounds like maybe they should have had you in outfield if they're that serious about the W. 1 for 3 isn't too shabby at the plate. But like the other guy said, it's about having fun. Doesn't sound like this is a feeder league to the pros, so everyone should just chill out.
 
If you aren't batting at least .750 in slow pitch, you might as well just end it now.
 
I've always found it funny when people take these types of games seriously. It's like dude, relax, there are no scouts here watching you. Lol@ being competitive.
