Platinum Mike Perry emasculated Alan Jouban at the weigh in

Perry wasn't shook, he just isn't as good at cutting off the cage and landing, as Jouban is at moving away and countering with single shots. Jouban got hurt every time he stopped moving and shots were sending him stumbling across the octagon. Just another one of those fights that suffered from the 3x 5min rounds and 10 point system.

See the problem is you are talking about technique and stuff when 90% of the fight is mental. None of those shortcomings would have mattered because technique, preparation, and all of that only account for about 10% of the fight. Even if Perry was a total rookie he should be able to beat him based on the mental advantage alone.

Sadly math tells us Jouban was much stronger mentally and that cannot be debated.
