I watched this new Gerard Butler action thriller last night and it was freaking AMAZING!
I put it on before bed and figured I'd watch a few minutes and fall asleep like I usually do but heck no, I was riveted to the screen from the moment they took off and could barely even blink until the credits rolled
Butler plays an ex-military guy who had an incident and is now flying shit routes for budget airlines, hes flying one last route before heading home to spend New Years Eve with his estranged daughter that he hasnt seen in years when all of a sudden all hell breaks loose over the open ocean
Its part 90's disaster flick, part 80's Arnold/Stallone jungle warfare adventure, all adrenaline, all the time and it has one of thee absolute best big badass shootout finales Ive ever seen in a movie
Oh man, did I absolutely love this one!
Its been a long time since I could say this but I officially give this one my Highest 7 Thumbs Up Recommendation

Heres the trailer but be warned, I would only watch a bit of it to get the vibe of the film if youre interested because they show almost the whole damn movie in here

I'll probably check it out on Friday. I have some passes I need to burn. Lionsgate usually makes a good action flick. Neat plot with the Abu Sayaaf terrorists. Those guys are wacky as hell.

I too watched it last night. It was alright, better than I expected. I like these stupid Liam Neeson movies

It was quite entertaining, much better than I thought it was going to be tbh
The best bit for me
SLEDGEHAMMER-SMASHED FACE!!
I see you're a man of taste - a fellow Cannibal Corpse enjoyer?

I hadn't heard of this flick, I'll be checking it out. Thanks for the heads up.

Yea, there was some good brutality in there, my favorite part

The final battle when that huge sniper rifle would hit a guy and send him flying backwards 10 feet

Fiancée and I are gonna watch this. Is it worth seeing in theaters?

I think every movie is better in theaters, theres a huge plane crash scene and some really brutal gun fights that might look cool but its not one of those movies where I deeply regretted not watching it on a fancy pants giant screen

Although that final gun fight probably kicks ass in theaters with giant speakers

I was thinking about watching this last night and ended up watching The Gray Man. Will check it out tonight. I liked Gerard in the Has Fallen movies.

I liked The Gray Man but I liked this movie better, The Gray Man is one I definitely wish I woulda saw in theaters, all those explosions, bright colors and quick cuts woulda been dazzling!

i hate how they do that with trailers

Agreed. It's always best to show little as possible so viewers can enjoy the entire experience the first time they see it.

Movies now will spoil everything just for the chance to sell the movie. Imagine how great spiderman no way home would have been if they didn't tell everyone the previous 2 spidermans and the villains will be in it.

As far as the trailers go, most of them play the entire film in 3 mins. I always avoid them for the most part.
