I've been having trouble pivoting my feet on my kicks lately (I always remember to do it, since I come from a TKD background, but I haven't been pivoting enough), and, since I don't wanna fuck up my knees (my lack of pivoting occasionally hurts my knee already; it goes away after 10 seconds, but that's not a good sign), I was hoping for some exercises that could help with this. I already know about slowly going through the form and shadow-kicking (or whatever it's called-- kicking the air so the resistance provided by a bag or pads doesn't easily restrict pivoting), but that gets really boring really quick, so some alternatives would be appreciated.

These are all right, however, shadow boxing and bag work are the best.

Video recording yourself is very useful; tape your pad work with you coach and your bag work.

Do you have a good coach whom is helping you learn a proper kick?
