Wouldn't taking out Irans nuclear facilities bring us a step back from nuclear war. Or are people suggesting another stale will use a nuclear strike on Iran's behalf ?

There is no evidence that Iran has taken the steps to build a nuclear weapon. It just has the potential and materials to build one.

But Israel does not have the ability to take out Iran's capability. As their officials have previously stated.

What they want is US, the Americans to use our 30,000 bunker busting bombs to do it for them. Israel wants us to fight their war for them basically. As they've been pressuring us to do for decades.

Destroying Iranian oil fields or nuclear power plants as suggested by a few hawkish American senators it would actually bring the middle east region closer to full escalation.

Destroying Iraqi Saddam's nuclear power plants/power plant might have worked in Iraq.
But i still see some hawkish types comparing Iran to Iraq.

Differences with Iran and Iraq they have allies in the region.
Iraq/Saddam did not.
