So I was wondering what the ‘smart’ thing to do as an amateur would be.
I’m coming off of a loss at 135 for this promotions title. And i might have an offer to fight the 125 title in a month. I know these ammy titles don’t mean anything but I’m assuming it’s a good experienced guy.
Now I’ve heard people say after a loss you should take a step down in competition, build your record and confidence etc. But im told being an amateur is to make mistakes now and your record doesn’t matter cuz it resets as pro anyway. Just get the experience.
So im wondering if I should take another hard fight, probably come in as the underdog or whatever. It’s not like I got blown out my last fight either.
I think I already know the answer but I just wanted to make sure and hear your guys thoughts on the matter.
